Where will you be in 10 years, if you don’t make any changes now?

You know how you look back at your younger self and say: “Man! If only I’d given myself more confidence and let myself shine while I had so much going for me, and not worry so much about what others would think…!  Where might I be now?”

Now imagine who you’d be 10 years from now if you kept doubting, kept double-checking with others, kept comparing, and kept focusing on what you think you lack and not being willing to face your biggest fears.  Where would you be?

And imagine yourself looking back at your current self with regret, saying “Man! If only I’d given myself more confidence and let myself shine while I had all that youth, that opportunity, and not worry so much about what “might” happen or what others may have thought….  Where might I be now?”

Now imagine that you still kept doubting, double-checking, comparing, avoiding…for the 10 years after that, and wondering the exact same thing.  And the 10 years after that.  And another 10.

Now you’re at the end of your life.   You’re wrinkled, old, unable to do much but sit and think.

Your youth, your big window of opportunity was your whole life.  Not your teens.  Not your twenties and thirties.  Not up until some arbitrary certain age.

Your big window of opportunity was when you were able to do things, reach out to people, dream about what could be possible, start making things happen.

Your big window of opportunity is still WIDE OPEN.  HUGE.

Our biggest cultural misconception is that things have to happen by a certain time or else it’s not meant to be.

Insanity!

Life is LIFE.  This is the TIME to figure it out.  This is the time to DO.

NOW is the time to let yourself be more confident and stop doubting, stop double-checking, stop comparing and focusing on lack, and  time to be willing to face your biggest fears!

One day there will be no time left.  And nothing you can do about it.

Make your future self proud.
